Private practice therapist in Durham, NC

If you are struggling with memories, symptoms, worries or feelings that are getting in the way of living a fulfilling life, even the simplest challenges can feel overwhelming. Psychotherapy is one way to work through your fears and doubts so that you can return to optimum functioning. Often, simple and short-term interventions are enough to get you back on the right track. (Visit About My Practice for more information on my approach.)

With a background in clinical social work, public health, yoga, women’s health, social justice, and healthy sexuality, I can offer a holistic perspective on the challenges you are facing. I work from a feminist, relational, anti-oppression framework. I openly welcome clients of color, immigrants, queer and trans* clients, and clients of all genders.

Please take some time to look over the information provided on my site, and decide if you feel like my approach would be a good fit with your needs. I offer a free 30 minute consultation to prospective clients to make sure that we have a good therapeutic fit.

To wish to be well is a part of becoming well.
